I graduated with a PhD from Yale in 2015. I am now a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Arizona. You can find up-to-date CV and publication information at www.coltonlynner.wordpress.com
The goal of my PhD thesis was to characterize global sub-slab shear wave splitting patterns and interpret them in the plate tectonic paradigm. My PhD research involved source-side shear wave splitting studies with the aim of understanding what causes sub-slab anisotropy to transition from trench-parallel to trench-perpendicular orientations.
