I am currently a postdoctoral associate working with Professor Jay J. Ague. I received my B.Sc. degree in Geology from the National University of La Plata (Argentina) in 2014, and after obtaining a M.Sc. degree in Mineral Resources at the University of Barcelona (Spain) in 2015, I joined the Department of Geology at the University of Chile in Santiago for a Ph.D. the same year (finished in 2019).
My broad research interests lie at the intersection of the petrology and geochemistry of mafic and ultramafic rocks as a tool for understanding the formation and evolution of the continental lithospheric mantle and crust. I am eager to understand the connection between the nature of the deep lithosphere and the evolution of primitive magmas, episodes of crustal growth or destruction, and the formation and regional scale distribution of ore deposits.
