I am an Isotope Geochemist who is interested in both natural and enhanced silicate rock weathering. During my PhD, I have utilized multiple isotope systems to assess how silicate rock weathering adjusted to known climate changes in the past. My current researched centers around the question if/how much we can speed up this natural CO2 removal process process to take more CO2 out of the atmosphere. In my research, I am combining soil-, water-, and model-based approaches to quantify how much atmospheric CO2 is removed in such enhanced weathering field trials.
